"We are pleased to inform that the project Plan4all - European Network of Best Practices for Interoperability of Spatial Planning Information; has been approved by the European Commission (EC) for co funding under the eContentplus Programme (call 2008).
The Plan4all (ECP‑2008‑GEO‑318007) is a Best Practice Network (BPN) .. EUROGI is a partner of the Plan4all project having a foreseen active participation on some of the work packages.
The project is led by the University of West Bohemia (UWB). It officially starts on May 1st, 2009 and will run for 30 months. The kick off meeting is scheduled for May 14 in Prague, being preceded by a public workshop on May 13 in the afternoon. The event is tightly connected with the INSPIREd CEE-SDI Conference (http://www.isaf.cz/index_en.php?iMenu=10) within which organisation EUROGI is actively engaged."
Mission goals and strategic priorities include: Act according to the European Commission INSPIRE principles and coordinate with the UNSDI development process. Support national/cross-border implementation of the INSPIRE Directive. Awareness raising on SDI at political level. Strengthen cohesion between stakeholders and other interested parties ie. public services, SMEs and SDICs. Provide synergies in local, regional, national and global dimensions with outreach towards EU neighbouring countries

GINNT EXPO - HUNAGI partnership
The partnership was initiated by Zsolt Barkóczi, President of HUNAGI and launched on the meeting participated by GINNT ExPO marketing director Mr. Tamás Loschinger and the Secretary-general of HUNAGI. The outcomes of the talks held in Café Miro, Budapest will provide mutual benefits for both sides. At the GINNT ExPO scheduled for June 10-11 among others, a panel discussion will be arranged by HUNAGI on two tentative topics:
1) value and role of spatial data - availability, accessibility and useability
2) eSDI-Net+ evaluation of SDI services
GINNT Expo supported by the National Office for Research and Technology will provide surface for the six HUNAGI eSDI-Net+ thematic SDI services (INVATER, KOMVR, MÉTA, PIR, TeIR, VINGIS) free of charge and all HUNAGI Members will receive significant reduction on the listed booth prices.

GMES Space Component - New information on GMES Space Component Best Practice ITTs

The European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA) have concluded an agreement on the delegation of budget implementation tasks to ESA for the GMES Space Component within the FP7 specific programme “Cooperation” and its theme “Space”. ITTs co-funded by EC and ESA are open to all FP7 participating countries.
Please be informed that the ITT(s) listed in the attached table have recently been announced in this framework by ESA. (Further information as well as a consolidated list of the ITTs published so far can be found on the CORDIS space page: http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/cooperation/space_en.html.)
We kindly ask you to take the necessary measures to ensure that your industry is made aware of this opportunity.
