Dr. József Mlinarics, President of MATISZ with Zsolt Barkóczi, President of HUNAGI at the talks this morning. The potentials of the cooperation include the extension of evaluation used by MATISZ for public web services also in the field of services related to geospatial contents with special emphasis on their legislation compliance, useability and user friendlyness. These aspects are part of the five aspects used in the evaluation methodology elaborated for SDI services in the past 3 years under the guidance of EUROGI in the eSDI-Net+ project framework. The suggested cooperation envisaging the will be mentioned by the SG of HUNAGI at the next eSDI-Net+ Consortium Meeting scheduled for 18th March in Darmstadt, hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute.
Mission goals and strategic priorities include: Act according to the European Commission INSPIRE principles and coordinate with the UNSDI development process. Support national/cross-border implementation of the INSPIRE Directive. Awareness raising on SDI at political level. Strengthen cohesion between stakeholders and other interested parties ie. public services, SMEs and SDICs. Provide synergies in local, regional, national and global dimensions with outreach towards EU neighbouring countries
