Provide synergies in local, regional, national and global dimensions with outreach towards EU neighbouring countries

UN Statistical Division introduces a new portal service in Summer 2007

The coming UN Statistical Portal promises easy access to data

The new portal of the UN Statistical Division announced to be opened in Summer 2007 will have the following features:
- free of charge access to United Nations Statistics Division data,
- search and browse several databases using one easy to use interface,
- new and improved data and metadata presentation.
Recently the UN Statistical databases can be reached at the conventional entry point:
http://unstats.un.org/unsd/databases.htm
