Support national/cross-border implementation of the INSPIRE Directive. Awareness raising on SDI at political level. Strengthen cohesion between stakeholders and other interested parties ie. public services, SMEs and SDICs. Provide synergies in local, regional, national and global dimensions with outreach towards EU neighbouring countries

Digital Earth and Europe - telecon arranged by DG JRC

This afternoon between 14:00 and 15:00 CET, a discussion telecon was arranged and moderated by Dr. Alessandro Annoni, Head of the DG JRC IES SDI Unit inviting Prof.Dr. Milan Konecny Vice-President of ISDE, Prof. dr. Manfred Ehlers, President of the German Society for Geoinformatics (GfGI) host of the 2nd ISDE Summit held in Potsdam last year and SG of HUNAGI, all European members of the Executive Committee of ISDE.
