Mission goals and strategic priorities include: Act according to the European Commission INSPIRE principles and coordinate with the UNSDI development process. Support national/cross-border implementation of the INSPIRE Directive. Awareness raising on SDI at political level. Strengthen cohesion between stakeholders and other interested parties ie. public services, SMEs and SDICs. Provide synergies in local, regional, national and global dimensions with outreach towards EU neighbouring countries

Telecon of the Int'l Organising Com members of the Digital Earth Summit

The 3rd Digital Earth Summit will be hosted by Bulgaria in Nessebar. The telecon participants included Prof. Dr. Temenoujka Bandrova host of the event Prof.Dr. Milan Konecny, Vice President of ISDE, Dr. Alessandro Annoni, Head of the DG JRC IES SDI , Prof. dr. Manfred Ehlers, host of the 2nd Digital Earth Summit held in Potsdamas well as SG of HUNAGI, all members of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Digital Earth and members of the International Organizing Committee of the Nessebar Summit. ExCom Secretary Prof. Wang Changlin apologized but will contribute by post telecon action.
